With a wide range of topics, NECA provides a one-stop shop for the information you need to keep your company on top. Dozens of potential classes await you at NECA 2019 Las Vegas — Attendees can customize their agenda by selecting from a range of sessions to fit their individual and business needs.

Preconvention Workshops

In-depth education on the topics you need most. Communicating to get what you want, leading others, creating value for your customers, planning for the future and staying safe. These full and half day workshops take a deep dive to give you the tools you need to be successful. These full and half day workshops held on Saturday require separate registration and fees.

Convention Education

Lessons learned. Dynamic speakers. Best practices. This year NECA is flipping the script. NECA Contractors will walk you through the lessons they’ve learned to become successful. Dynamic speakers will make you think about how to communicate, lead and work better. Best practices will be shared, giving you the opportunity to learn even more. Held Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings, these sessions will help you start your day off right!

Trade Show Education

Held throughout the NECA Show, right on the floor, all attendees are welcome to attend these sessions.

• Leadership Workshops
  New this year! Good leaders are invaluable and this year we’re bringing our leadership training to the show floor with dynamic workshops for leaders of all levels.
• Technology Systems Integration Workshops
  New this year! “Low Voltage” has become so much more. IoT, LED, POE and 5G—it’s a world of acronyms and we’re providing sessions to help you find your way through this growing market.
• Technical Workshops
  The NECA Show is the place to find information on the future of the electrical construction industry. Each year, NECA selects a handful of exhibitors to bring you information on industry trends, process improvements and the biggest innovations to the way you’ll do work to help you be more effective and efficient.
• Product Presentation Theater
  The newest solutions for the job and in the office will be promoted in short, informative presentations right on the Show floor. This is the place to get the information you need to make decisions on how to innovate.
• TECHTOPIA: the place for all things digital and disruptive
  Learn how innovations are revolutionizing your businesses and how you can use them to get ahead. TECHTOPIA brings you all things digital and disruptive with the Disruptive Technology Pavilion and the Digital Media Lounge. Changes in AR/VR, BIM Caves, Hololens, IoT, Mobile Apps, Pre-Fab, Robotics, and advances in Software are already in the workplace and here you can ask questions to experts in the new round table discussions. Certificates

Certificates of attendance will be offered for all courses and select courses will offer continuing education hours. To avoid any confusion or problems at the state level, NECA strongly recommends you check with your state authority prior to the Convention to find out whether they will allow continuing education at NECA 2019 Las Vegas to contribute to their requirements. Find information on your state electrical contractor licensing boards.
