Angie Wood

Angie Wood is Vice-President and Human Resources Director at J. Ranck Electric, a leading electrical contractor in Michigan. Angie has worked in the business her entire adult life and, together with her brother Adam Ranck, is a 2nd generation owner, leading the company since 2014. Angie has 15 years of experience in human resources, developing programs and leading the company in employee performance management, strategic planning, recruiting, employee relations, training and development. She created Skilled Trades Night and has connected with nearly 1,000 students, parents, and educators interested in the trades. Angie is passionate about recruiting new talent to the industry and has made it her mission to change the way people think about careers in the trades.
