Description

Electrical systems are often a critical barrier for large construction projects. The session will discuss how to automate the configuration and commissioning of large electrical assemblies to reduce lead times, especially on large projects where electrical systems need to be duplicated for multiple sites. The audience will learn how to use modern tools to remotely configure electrical components and large assemblies through cloud-based software to streamline device configuration.

  • Shane Semple

    Shane Semple, PE, is a product manager for PRE-Forrmance electrical assemblies for Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds business where he is focused on helping customers enhance productivity and profitability across a wide range of commercial construction applications. Prior to his time at Eaton, Semple held electrical engineering positions at Loftus Engineers, AE Works and Leach Wallance Associates. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Architectural Engineering, from Penn State University.
