Description
The electrical construction industry can provide opportunities for growth—if you know about them and seize them. Throughout the career of one NECA contractor, the vitality of inclusiveness and the power of diversity has brought a wealth of experience with how diversity can strengthen companies. This session will share his story as a model for both building a diverse team and succeeding with diversity.

Rusty Gonzales
Rusty has been the owner of St. Andrews since its inception in 1996, and has been in the electrical industry for over 35 years. Prior to founding St. Andrews, Rusty completed the Wyoming Joint Apprentice Training Program, and possesses a Colorado Master Electrician license.
His project management expertise earned him an Alliance Project Management Certificate, in addition to a certificate from Howard University for the School of Business Executive Education in the Government Contracting Competency Program. Currently, Rusty is participating in the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver as a part of their 2016 cohort.
Rusty has always prided himself on building relationships with both his clients, and his family, and has always considered his greatest accomplishment to be raising two sons and being able to support them through college. He enjoys cooking and creating original recipes, golfing, and traveling with his family.
