Description

Prefab and packaging do not just happen. They need to be planned for and driven into practice with mindful determination. A large NECA contractor will share a deeper and harder look at the planning required for making prefab and packaging success, a reality and a prescribed planning methodology that is used for getting the plan from concept and visualization to a written program that is able to be followed, and repeated.

Speakers

  • Steven Rose

    Steve has been involved in the Union electrical industry for 36 years. He is part of Rosendin’s Lean Steering Committee and on the Southern California Rosendin safety committee. He was a commercial electrical inspector for the City of Los Angeles from his retirement from Local 11 in 2006 until 2010 and left the City for the position of Field Support Services Manager for the Southern California region of Rosendin Electric. He is currently the Corporate Director of Prefab and Packaging for Rosendin Electric. Also currently a member of the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety and Los Angeles County Department of Building and Safety Electrical Technical Advisory Committee. He prefabbed and packaged the first job he ever ran in 1986, and has developed prefab and packaging departments for multiple contractors in the Los Angeles area.

  • Dillon Doyle

    With over 20 years of experience in electrical contracting, Dillon is a valuable asset to our Prefabrication Department. Dillon will work closely with the project team to ensure that Prefabricated Assemblies meet project specifications and are delivered on-time to support the construction schedule. In addition to his impressive background in Field Support and Prefab, he holds a Bachelors of Manufacturing Engineering degree from Texas State University and was a National Science Foundation- Manufacturing Engineer and Engineer Technology Scholar. He is experienced and trained using Arena, AutoCAD 2002, Pro E (Wildfire), and Mastercam 9.

  • Eric Abbott

    Eric began his involvement in the Union Electrical Industry as an Apprentice in 1988. His work experience has transcended through the following roles: Apprentice electrician, Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Electrical General Foreman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Director of Field Operations, Director of Operations Training and Development and now has a current role of Superintendent – Performance planning and Scheduling.

    Eric’s current role supports the overall development of a corporate Performance Planning and Scheduling program which has a foundation of Advanced Work Packaging and Work Face Planning. This program is modeled for the Electrical Contractor who needs the flexibility to support customers which are in a wide range of industries. Eric also supports direct project operations teams Performance Planning development, coaching and mentoring.
